Lenovo Z5s With Snapdragon 710 SoC, Triple Rear Camera Setup Launched: Price, Specifications

Lenovo Z5s was launched in China on Tuesday, after many teasers. The smartphone's big highlights include the waterdrop-shaped display, triple rear camera setup, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 3,300mAh battery, and ZUI 10 operating system. The device also comes with Game Turbo technology for allowing intense gaming sessions without heating up the phone. The Lenovo Z5s comes in three colour options, and will go on sale on December 24 in the country. Alongside, the company also announced the arrival of a new Lenovo Z5 Pro variant powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor.

Lenovo Z5s price, availability, design

The Lenovo Z5s smartphone is priced starting at CNY 1,398 (roughly Rs. 14,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, CNY 1,598 (roughly Rs. 16,400) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option, and CNY 1,898 (roughly Rs. 19,500) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It will be available in Honey Orange, Starry Black, and Titanium Crystal Blue colour options. The smartphone will be up for sale on the Lenovo website, and other online partnered sites. Reservations for the phone have already begun, and sale will commence on December 24. The Lenovo Z5s Zhu Yilong custom version has also been launched alongside for the price of CNY 1,998 (roughly Rs. 20,500), and delivery for this variant will begin January 12 next year.

Coming to design, the Lenovo Z5s sports a waterdrop-shaped notch up front with no bezels on all sides. The smartphone is seen sporting a triple rear camera setup at the back stacked vertically with a flash sitting beneath the sensors, and a rear fingerprint sensor as well.

As for hardware, the Lenovo Z5s runs on Android Oreo-based ZUI 10, and supports dual-SIM card slots. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 450nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is further expandable using a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 256GB).

As for optics, the triple rear camera setup includes one 16-megapixel main sensor with 6P lens and f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel camera as the secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel camera as the third sensor. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor again with f/2.0 aperture. Features of the selfie camera include digital zoom, beauty filters, and more.

The Lenovo Z5s packs a 3,300mAh battery, and connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS, and more. The smartphone's dimensions are at 156.7x74.5x7.85mm, and it weighs 172 grams
