Huawei Y7 With Android 7.0 Nougat, 4000mAh Battery Launched
Huawei launched its Y3 (2017) smartphone earlier this week and on Wednesday, the company launched another smartphone in the series - 'Y7'. The new smartphone from Huawei notably houses a massive 4000mAh battery. The Huawei Y7 will be made available in Grey, Prestige Gold, and Silver colours. The pricing and availability of the phone has not been announced by the company yet.
The hybrid dual-SIM Huawei Y7 runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with 2.5D glass on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, both coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the Huawei Y7 comes with a 12-megapixel primary rear camera, with LED flash. At front, there is an 8-megapixel camera at for taking selfies. The new Huawei smartphone comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). In terms of connectivity, the phone offers options including 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, GPS/GLONASS.
As we mentioned earlier, the Huawei Y7 houses a 4000mAh battery. The new smartphone from Huawei measures 153.6x76.4x8.35mm and weighs around 165 grams. The sensors on the Y7 include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and an accelerometer.
"EMUI 5.1 provides an in-depth customization and refreshing new interpretation of Android 7.0 [Nougat]. With a brand new redesigned interface, over 90-percent of core operations can be completed in just 3 steps. And new features like Eye Comfort Mode helps you filter out blue light and provides relief to visual fatigue," the company says on its website.
