Intex Indie 5 With 4G VoLTE, 4,000mAh Battery Launched in India: Price, Specifications, Features
Intex Indie 5 is the company's latest smartphone in India. Key features of the new smartphone include 4G VoLTE connectivity, a 4,000mAh battery, Dragontrail glass protection, and an LED selfie light. Available in a Black colour variant, the Intex Indie 5 has been priced at Rs. 4,999 and is available across Intex's online and offline partners in India. It comes with certain preloaded apps including SwiftKey, music streaming app Gaana, video streaming app Amazon Prime Video, and a QR code scanner.

The dual-SIM (Micro) Intex Indie 5 runs Android 7.0 out-of-the-box, and sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with Dragontrail Glass, 2.5D curved glass, pixel density of 294ppi, and 16.7 million colours. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC, coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Intex Indie 5 bears a single 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera sensor with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera LED selfie flash. Features of the phone's camera include HDR, beautification mode, and panorama.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi with WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, USB with OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 4,000mAh battery under the hood. Sensors onboard the Intex Indie 5 include ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor. The smartphone measures 146.5x72.2x10.1mm and weighs 162 grams.
