LG X4 With LG Pay Launched: Price, Specifications, and Features
LG Electronics on Sunday announced the launch of its LG X4 smartphone in South Korea. The latest addition to LG's X series of handsets, after the LG X4+ was introduced in January earlier this year, comes with similar features such as the company's digital payments platform LG Pay, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the same 5.3-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. Priced at KRW 297,000 (roughly Rs. 17,800), the LG X4 is up for sale in South Korea via three domestic mobile carriers. The phone will be made available in Black and Gold colour variants.
Finger Touch feature of the phone allows users to take a screenshot or selfie shot by tapping the fingerprint sensor at the back. Additionally, you can make payments through LG Pay by using the fingerprint sensor or entering your password. Shinhan Card, Lotte Card, and Hana Card are currently LG Pay partners in the company's home country.
LG X4 specifications
The LG X4 runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports a 5.3-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and comes with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMC inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). There is a 3000mAh battery under the hood.
In the camera department, this handset bears an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, FM Radio, and Micro-USB. Dimensions of the LG X4 are 148.6x75.1x8.6mm and the weight is 164 grams.
