Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Specifications Leak Alongside New Patents
With over a month to go before Samsung reveals its next Note model, there is no shortage of leaks related to the upcoming handset. New reports have surfaced on the Internet tipping the innards of the Galaxy Note 7 apart from the new home button design, and a possible first look at the Samsung's new Touchwiz UX Beta version.
According to a Chinese tipster who posted purported specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the handset will come in two variants featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893 SoCs. It is being speculated that the Snapdragon 821 version will be available in select markets such as the US while the Exynos model may go on sale in emerging markets such as India.
Some of the other innards tipped for the Galaxy Note 7 include a 5.7-inch QHD Super Amoled display; 6GB of RAM; 64GB/ 128GB storage models with expansion support; 12-megapixel rear camera with dual pixel PDAF; 5-megapixel front camera; 4000mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with alleged TouchWiz 'Grace' UX. Notably, the Chinese tipster claims that the Galaxy Note 7 will be the first handset featuring a 256GB inbuilt storage option. The innards tipped by the Chinese tipster are in-line with what @evleaks recently claimed for the Galaxy Note 7.
In addition, a new leaked video has surfaced on the Internet which claims to detail the new TouchWiz UX expected to launch with the Galaxy Note 7. Based on the video, the new TouchWiz 'Grace' UX is said to sport new notification panel, revamped settings menu, new colours, and some new customisation options.
