Huawei Mate 8 Teaser Confirms November 26 Launch

Huawei has finally started teasing the launch of its upcoming phablet, the Mate 8, which is expected to be unveiled on November 26. The Chinese company shared the teaser via Weibo (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter), confirming the launch event as well as Mate 8 device.

The unannounced Huawei Mate 8 is expected to ship with the company's own Kirin 950 SoC, which will likely be the company's chipset for high-end devices. An earlier leaked roadmap of the company tipped that the Mate 8 may feature a 6-inch QHD display, Kirin 950 SoC, and a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS.
In another leak, Huawei's yet-to-be-announced Mate 8 was pictured  purportedly showing the metal frame of the handset. The leaked images have been posted by a employee of Foxconn, in whose factory the Mate 8 is reportedly being assembled. In the leaked images, the Mate 8's SIM card tray can also be seen alongside microSD card slot. We can expect more details to emerge as the launch nears.
