HTC Corporation One E9: A Tough Competitor To M9, Leaked Images And Specifications Depict

HTC, the Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer, has recently unveiled its flagship device, the M9. Interestingly, data proliferation has made its way to China during this short span of time, against HTC One E9 -- the company’s upcoming smartphone.
The upcoming smartphone is likely to give a tough time to the M9. The device is said to be equipped with a bigger screen that boasts of a higher screen resolution, as revealed by the leaked images and specifications. The images have been leaked by TENAA (China's telecommunication regulator).
 

The leaks suggest that the HTC One E9, is to have a 5.5 inch screen and a 2800 mAh battery. The dimensions of the device are expected to be 156.5×76.5x7.54 mm (6.1 x 3 x 0.3 inches). However, no information has been revealed regarding the weight of the phone. For the record, it was leaked earlier that the device will have a 5.5 inch screen along with a Quad HD display, the resolutions were expected to be (2,560x1,440), in comparison to M9's 1080 pixels. Moreover, the chipset in the E9 will also be different from the one in M9, where HTC has decided to bid farewell to Qualcomm's Snapdragon and will equip the upcoming smartphone with the MediaTek MT6795, Octa-core processor.

The E9 will be equipped with a 20MP back camera, similar to the M9. The device will have 32GB of available storage, along with a 3 GB RAM. The operating system will be upgraded to Lollipop.
HTC previously launched the E8, which was a plastic-cased relatively cheaper version of M8, that also had low quality specs. This created an image that the E9 will also be a cheaper version of the M9. Thus, many critics also speculate that the leaked specs might belong to M9 Plus.

Upleaks reports that the E9 will make its debut this month, bringing down the level of anticipation.
