Xiaomi Mi Max Variant With 16GB Storage, 2GB RAM Launched
When Xiaomi launched the Mi Max in May, it offered storage options at 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. However, the company has now silently launched the 16GB variant as well. The 16GB storage/2GB RAM bundle variant is being sold by several Chinese vendors at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,100).
Xiaomi has not officially announced the new variant. GizmoChina reports that the Mi Max 16GB variant sold by vendors in China is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. All the other specifications remain the same.
Just to recap, the 32GB variant is powered by the same processor, comes with a 3GB RAM, and is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,000). The 64GB storage / 3GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 17,000); and the 128GB storage / 4GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,500). The 64GB and 128GB variant are powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor.
