Honor 5C Now Available via Open Sale, Flipkart Offers Exchange Discounts
Huawei launched the Honor 5C exclusively on Flipkart last month. After initially selling the smartphone via the flash sale model, the Chinese company has now announced that the Honor 5C will be available through the open sale on the e-commerce site.
The smartphone was launched with a price tag of Rs. 10,999. The first flash sale was conducted on June 30, and now the smartphone is available freely on Flipkart. The e-commerce site has also listed an exchange offer that can get you a discount of up to Rs 10,000 by exchanging an old device. Therefore, users can buy the Honor 5C for as low as Rs. 999. Of course, the exchange discount depends on the condition and the model of the smartphone being exchanged. Flipkart mentions that the old smartphones have to functional, their display has to be intact, and their valid IMEI number should be known.
The Honor 5C comes with a 15-month warranty, and screen replacement warranty for the first month. It was launched in China in April, before making its way to India in June. The dual-SIM Honor 5C supports Micro-SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM cards, and runs on Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display, and is powered by the company's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz + 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2GHz).
The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The Honor 5C additionally sports a fingerprint scanner at the back, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
