LG G5 Compares With Samsung Galaxy S7 in Leaked Benchmark Scores
We have already seen Samsung's Galaxy S7 and its variants appearing on Geekbench listings. In a latest leak, LG's upcoming G5 flagship has now popped on the same Geekbench listing showing scores that are
purportedly par than the Galaxy S7.
According to the Geekbench results, the LG G5 purportedly scored 2248 in single-core benchmark test and 5061 in multi-core tests. To compare, the Samsung Galaxy S7 was reported to score 1873 in single-core test while it scored better than the LG G5 by scoring 5946 in multi-core tests.
Additionally, the benchmark listing also suggests some of the innards details including a Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at quad-core 1.5GHz, 4GB of RAM, and running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Apart from the benchmarks, the flagships from LG and Samsung will also feature Always On display. The feature was 'seemingly' confirmed for the LG G5 in a leaked teaser recently. We already know that LG will be unveiling its G5 flagship smartphone at an event on February 21 in Barcelona. LG had last month sent out invites for its MWC 2016 keynote event.
Based on preliminary leaks, the smartphone is said to pack a dual rear camera setup. The G5 is also rumoured to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera with 135-degree wide-angle view. The handset is said to feature a ticker display, like the one we saw on the LG V10. Some of the other details tipped include a 5.3-inch QHD display; presence of 'Magic Slot', which is said to be linked with some kind of hardware expansion; ticker display feature; Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC; Android 6.0 Marshmallow; 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage.
