Intex Cloud 4G Smart With 5-Inch Display, Octa-Core SoC Launched at Rs. 4,999


Intex has launched a new entry-level 4G smartphone, the Cloud 4G Smart, priced at Rs. 4,999. The new Intex handset will be going on sale exclusively via Flipkart.

The Intex Cloud 4G Smart, as the name suggests, supports 4G, which is a highlight of the device at this price point. The new Cloud 4G Smart will be competing against other 4G phones priced in the budget sub-Rs. 5,000 category including the Lenovo A2010, ZTE Blade Qlux 4G, and the Phicomm Energy 653.
 The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Cloud 4G Smart features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) TFT display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It includes 8GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset measures 144.4x73.2x9.75mm and weighs 156 grams.

It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and also houses a 2-megapixel front camera. The 
Cloud 4G Smart packs 2000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. It supports hybrid SIM slot which means users can either use a SIM card or the microSD card in one of the slots.

Some of the preloaded apps include Matrabhasha, Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, Newshunt, Myntra, and Chaatz. It will be available in two colours Black, and White and Champagne.
