Huawei Enjoy 5S With Octa-Core SoC, 5-Inch Display Launched

Huawei has launched the Enjoy 5S smartphone in China. The device is listed on company's official Vmall store priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,500) and will be available starting December 10.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S is a dual-SIM dual standby (Micro+Nano) supporting smartphone that runs EMUI 3.1 Lite based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The second SIM slot also doubles as the microSD card slot. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display. Under the hood, the smartphone houses an octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor clocked at 1.5GHz, clubbed with 2GB RAM.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera powered by BSI CMOS sensor, alongside an 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also housed is 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via a MicroSD card (up to 128GB). It is backed by a non-removable 2200mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 420 minutes of 2G talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The Enjoy 5S offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G (Including Band 40) under its connectivity options. The device will be available in Gold and Silver colour variants.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S measures 143.5x71.0x7.6mm and weighs 135 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear panel at the centre as well. The smartphone's availability and price details outside China is not yet known.
The company last month launched its high-end flagship phablet Huawei Mate 8 in China. The device will be launched globally during CES 2016 in January.
