New details about Samsung's Project Zero 2 have emerged on the Internet. Earlier this month, specifications of the purported Project Zero 2 device were leaked alongside a video that partially showed the handset.
According to the latest leaked details, the Project Zero 2 device aka the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus will pack a 3000mAh battery, which will be a definite upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S6 that includes a 2550mAh battery as well as Galaxy S6 Edge that features a 2600mAh battery. To recall, Samsung had internally codenamed the Galaxy S6 as Project Zero ahead of its official launch.

The latest leak from Sammobile also tips that the handset's dimensions, saying it will measure 151mm tall and 73mm wide. To compare, the Galaxy S6 (seen above) measures 143.4mm in height and has a width of 70.5mm while the Galaxy S6 Edge is 142.1mm tall and has a width of 70.1mm. Notably, the name of the device has not been finalised yet by the company.

Earlier leaks had suggested that the Galaxy S6 Plus will feature a 5.4 or 5.5-inch Super-Amoled dual-edge curved display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. It is said to feature 32GB of inbuilt storage, and will come with the same camera setup as the Galaxy S6 - 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Notably, the 5.5-inch display puts the purported Galaxy S6 Plus in between the flagship Galaxy S and the Galaxy Note line-up that might prove to be a slightly odd decision. It could also challenge sales on several fronts, but looking at the specifications, it will probably cost less than the Galaxy S6 Edge due to the lower-end processor. With its dual-edge display, the smartphone may also be called the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
