Lenovo to launch A7000 smartphone in India on April 7
Lenovo is looking forward to launch its budget A7000 smartphone
in India on April 7. The A7000 will bring the Dolby Atmos technology to
a phone for the first time. The company has already sent out media
invites for the launch event of the same. Lenovo had first introduced
its A7000 smartphone at the recent Mobile World Congress2015 in
Barcelona at a price of $169. The smartphone is expected to come with a
price tag of under Rs 10,000 in India.

A big difference in comparison to the A6000 smartphone is the fact
that this phone is powered by a MediaTek processor and not Qualcomm. The
smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and runs on Android
Lollipop OS with Vibe UI. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Mediatek
MT6752m
CPU with Mali-T760MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM which is expandable up to 32GB. It comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. On the connectivity front, the device sports dual SIM card slots and supports 4G connectivity.
